The MarketShare product family is designed to run
standalone or optionally integrated with other enterprise systems. As
illustrated below, MarketShare can be integrated with a CRM system, Sales
Force Automation application, LDAP database, Call Center application, Bug
Tracking software, or standardized integration middleware.  Open APIs and XML ListenPoint facilitates integration with open APIs and XML specifications for all object types in the system, including products, product lines, accounts, account contacts, users, user groups, issues, enhancements, and research. Import Facility ListenPoint provides an "out of the box" facility for importing any of its core object types via a CSV (comma separated value) or XML file. This tool includes configurable field mappings and the intelligence to import updated versions of the same file, to keep the data current. Authentication Plug-Ins The MarketShare architecture supports authentication plug-in modules that can be used in place of the default authentication scheme. For instance, an authentication module can be plugged in that utilizes an LDAP database, to support "single sign-on." Back-End Consolidation MarketShare includes the ability to automatically consolidate product issues or enhancement requests during the import or integration process so if there are existing databases where these items are deposited, they can automatically be consolidated and prioritized (using MarketShare's NLP Matching Engine) prior to being put into MarketShare.
